Kya re Zindagi Kya Hai Tu Lyrics Translation | Drishyam

Movie: Drishyam
Music: Vishal Bhardwaj
Lyrics: Gulzar
Singer: Ash King (Whistle: Meghna Gulzar)
Label: Zee Music Company

kya re zindagi, kya hai tu,
teri carbon copy hoon main
ya mera aaina tu..

What, eh, O life, what are you?
am I your carbon copy,
or are you my mirror?

muffler ki tarah lipTi hai gale
gudgudi karti hai paanv tale
chiDchiDi si hai
nakchaDhi si hai
muhlagi hai tu,
arre agle moD pe milna tu..

like a muffler you embrace me,
you tickle at my feet,
you are a little moody,
a little haughty,
you are presumptuous,
meet me at the next turn (and I’ll show you)..

kya re zindagi, kya hai tu,
teri carbon copy hoon main
ya mera aaina tu..

Bahubali/ Baahubali Meaning

Baahubali, or Bahubali, is a Sanskrit origin word which is used in many Indian languages, including Telugu and Hindi.

In Sanskrit, baahu means arm, and bal means strength. Hence baahubal means strength of one's arms. From this comes baahubali, which means one who has strength in his arms.

So, to put it simply, baahubali is someone who is strong, literally in the physical sense of the word, though the word is also used for people who are powerful, not necessarily through the strength of their own arms. A simple example can be of Saif Ali Khan's character in Omkara, who was called Langda Tyagi 'baahubali' by his supporters.

aye party, o party
aye party party party..

hai celebration naacho dhana-dhan
music bajaao keh do ye sabse..
aaj ki party meri taraf se
chaand ko bolo utre falak se

it’s a celebration, dance with vigor,
play music, tell everyone,
today’s party is on me,
tell the moon to come down from the sky..

Dum Dum Dukur Dukur.. ahaa!
Dum Dum Dukur Dukur.. oho!
Dum Dum Dukur Dukur..
Dhing paTa paT Dhingri popo

[This is just gibberish used as words to the effect of percussion, more like Punjabi style drums (Dhol) that are commonly danced to.]

machi hai chull
toD ke rule
kare wo step ki gire log daayein baayein
neend bhi gul
jashn hai full
naache jamke ke poora floor hil jaaye
baaz naa aayein.. shor machaayein
party jo na kare usko TaTa bye
hai invitation milke karein fun
aao jahaaz mein ya bhar ke truck se

madness is here,
breaking the rules,
do such a step that people fall left and right..
sleep is gone,
there is full celebratory mood,
we’re not stopping, making noise,
bye to anyone who doesn’t party,
it’s an invitation, let’s have fun together,
come in a plane/ship or in full trucks..

aaj ki party meri taraf se
chaand ko bolo utre falak se
aaj ki party meri taraf se

Dum Dum Dukur Dukur.. ahaa!
Dum Dum Dukur Dukur.. oho!
Dum Dum Dukur Dukur..
Dhing paTa paT Dhingri popo

music bajaao keh do ye sabse..
