Gila, Shikwa, and Shikayat are three common Urdu words with the same meaning: Reproach, or complaint.
While all three are nouns, gila and shikayat are generally also used as a verb by saying 'gila karna' or 'shikayat karna,' both literally meaning 'to complain.'
